Hatton Garden Jewellers is the product of four generations of Jewellers, dating back to 1832 in London when the first Harrison ancestor mastered the craft of creating fine jewellery and handed down his knowledge and passion to the next generation.  The family profession was thereby established! 

 

The Harrisons relocated their family and business from London to Australia in the 1980's after producing masterpieces from their workshop in Hatton Garden (the jewellery precinct of London) for royalty, celebrities and the like.  The client base, and their preferences, was quite different in Australia but their newly created business - Hatton Garden Jewellers (as a mark of respect to their history in London) - adapted and flourished by providing the highest quality of service and product to suit every budget.   

 

Two generations of Harrisons continue to work at HGJ and it is this wealth of experience and knowledge that makes them unique. Decades of technique and skill goes lovingly into every piece of jewellery they produce and when this is matched with the highest quality materials, you are ensured of receiving an immaculate piece with the standard of workmanship that can only be achieved by experienced tradesmen. 

 

HGJ offers a full design service, for clients who don’t have a specific idea of what they want, and can also work to bring client’s own design ideas to reality.  The satisfaction derived from creating and wearing an individual piece is priceless!  But the range of ready made jewellery on offer at HGJ is also extensive, without the mass-production styles of some jewellery stores, and many customers find exactly what they’re looking for on display. 

 

In addition to complete manufactures, HGJ also performs restorations (modernising or bringing a family heirloom back to its original glory) and repairs.  A full advisory service is provided to offer guidance on all restorations and to explain any necessary repairs.
